Event Description:
The Concrete Careers Academy is please to bring our first ever Safety & HR Summit to an interactive virtual platform.  We invite you to join members of the Carolinas Ready Mixed Concrete Association (CRMCA), the Kentucky Concrete Association (KCA) and the Tennessee Concrete Association (TCA) for a virtual event focused on industry topics, issues and new ideas for advancing your company in regards to safety, human resources and more.  This 5-hour event will cover a variety of topics and offer time for member connections and peer-to-peer exchange of ideas and best practices.

The event will be hosted on the Virbela Platform a private event campus that allows the use of avatars and real-time voice through your computer.  This event allows you to be in person with your voice and an avatar which means no live cameras!

The event is open to all CRMCA, KCA and TCA members and is great for Plant Managers, Operators, Dispatchers, Production Managers and Safety & HR Staff.  

Event Schedule (all times listed as Eastern Standard)

9:00am-9:30am - Check in with Coffee and Convo
9:30am-11:00m - Session 1 followed Roundtable Topics
11:00am-12:30pm - Session 2 followed by Roundtable Topics
12:30pm-2:00pm - BREAK
2:00pm to 3:30 - Session 3 followed by Peer-to-Peer Exchange (bring your questions, best practices and info because Safety Shares!)

Any participants registered by March 17th will receive an Attendee Box with conference materials, gifts and more!  Registrations after March 17th will be offered based on availability but will not receive mailed attendee box.

Do you remember policies and procedures pre-COVID, are you aware that random inspections are coming back in 2021 and OSHA is updating checklists.  This session will take us back to the basics and prepare us for the future of concrete safety.

 
"Biden/Harris Administration Regulations Impacting RMC"

The Trump Administration provided much needed regulatory relief for the RMC industry from the prior administration.  With the new Biden/Harris Administration, it is anticipated that those regulatory impacts on the industry will increase.  This session will provide an outlook on the potential regulations that will be impacting the ready mixed concrete industry during the new Biden/Harris administration and steps the industry can take to minimize those impacts.
