Sara Lochren Pittman

Sara grew up on Long Island, NY where she attended Stony Brook University to pursue a BA in Psychology. After college, she lived in Florence, Italy for two years where she studied culinary arts and hospitality management. After returning to the US, Sara moved to Raleigh, NC to work for her family concrete business, Capital Ready Mix Concrete, where she currently serves as CEO. In 2017, Sara founded Capital Dumpster Service where served as CEO from 2017-2022. Capital Dumpster was acquired by Meridian Waste in June 2022, so Sara could serve as CEO at Capital Ready Mix as her father retired. Sara earned her MBA from Duke University in December of 2020. Sara also recently founded The Lochren Foundation, in an effort to support other small businesses, entrepreneurs and families in need in North Carolina
